1. Appointment and Term

Editorial Board members are appointed by the Editor-in-Chief and serve for a renewable term of 2 years. Appointment is based on academic expertise, professional standing, and commitment to the journal's mission.

2. Roles and Responsibilities

Board members agree to:

• Maintain the journal's academic standards and ethical integrity
• Participate in peer review and editorial decision-making
• Promote the journal within professional networks
• Provide expertise in specific research areas
• Attend board meetings and contribute to strategic discussions

3. Confidentiality

All board members must maintain strict confidentiality regarding:

• Manuscripts under review
• Reviewer identities
• Editorial decisions and discussions
• Any privileged information related to the journal

4. Conflict of Interest

Board members must disclose any potential conflicts of interest and recuse themselves from decisions where conflicts exist. Failure to disclose may result in termination of membership.

5. Code of Conduct

Board members are expected to:

• Act with integrity, honesty, and professionalism
• Treat all stakeholders with respect and fairness
• Adhere to COPE and ICMJE guidelines
• Support open access and scholarly publishing initiatives

6. Termination of Membership

Membership may be terminated for:

• Violation of ethical standards
• Breach of confidentiality
• Failure to fulfill responsibilities
• Resignation or non-renewal
